Join our Lifetime Data Science Academy and get the skills needed to embark on a successful and exciting career in Data Science.

Many talented students in Indonesia do not have access to high-quality data science education due to financial barriers. We try to eliminate this barrier with the Apprenticeship Scholarship program. From 2020 we committed to distributing scholarships worth IDR 8 Billion to students from financially challenged backgrounds. Upon completing the 4-Month learning program, students will get internship opportunities at Algoritma and its hiring partners networks.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

After completing the 4-month Lifetime Data Science Academy program, Students with a passing grade of a minimum of 85 will get Internship & working opportunities at Algoritma and its hiring partners network. Full scholarship recipients must commit to completing a minimum of three months internship to increase their chances of obtaining employment in the data science field.

ALGORITMA CAMPUS AMBASSADOR

To help recipients build their portfolio and personal branding, scholarship recipients must commit one year as Algoritma Campus Ambassador. Below are some Ambassador benefits:

Responsibilities as Algoritma Ambassador:

  • Get involved in every aspect of promoting Algoritma learning programs for students and graduates at the recipient’s university
  • Influence and shape our on-campus marketing activities
  • Utilize recipient’s networks through communities, clubs, career centers, and other connections to promote Algoritma events and working opportunities
  • Work closely with the Algoritma team, attend and support our on-campus events, and distribute marketing materials in publicity and promotional events
  • Share Algoritma’s educational content

Frequently Asked Questions

The prerequisite conditions for scholarship applicants are *ACTIVE STUDENTS* (can be either a Bachelor or Master Degree student). For those of you who are in the midst of a thesis, you can participate in this scholarship program, whilst for the fresh graduates, you can also register in our regular program.

Correct, because the main purpose of this scholarship program is to provide opportunities for students who have financial difficulties in accessing a quality data science curriculum.

Of course. This scholarship program is open to all majors, and not just only to IT students. Our curriculum is designed to be beginner-friendly, so you would not be required to have any technical background prior to joining the program.

Indonesian students who study abroad are able to register as the whole program will be entirely held online.

Full Scholarship is a scholarship that is given a full 100% subsidy (free, fully-funded) but you would only need to pay a commitment fee (Rp.1.000.000,-) which will be returned after the program is completed without being absent for more than three occasions and have a final score of above 70%.For the Partial Scholarship program, you will only be charged 50% of the full sum.

The quota for the full-scholarship is 50 participants this year, whilst the partial-scholarship will be capped at 150 participants. However, if you are not selected for the full scholarship, you will automatically be allocated to the partial scholarship if the quota is still unmet.

No, we offer a free four-month data science bootcamp. In this bootcamp, you will learn data science from the basic and develop a final project at the end of the program for your portfolio. Once you have graduated, you will become Algoritma Campus Ambassador and be eligible for internship opportunities.
