The Data Science Academy is a bundle of courses that is curated to accelerate a student’s mastery in building data products, develop machine learning models, and understand the core components that form the most of industrial-grade AI today.
Students are not assumed to have a working knowledge of R / Python / SQL or prior proficiency in statistics / mathematics / algebra. At such the workshop follows a gentle learning curve and emphasize on hands-on, one-to-one tutoring from our team of instructors and teaching assistants.
Throughout the course of the Academy, you will learn to build, evaluate and deploy your data science products, one project after another.
Students work through tons of real-life examples using sample datasets donated by our team of mentors and corporate partners. We believe in a learn-by-building approach, and we employ instructors who are uncompromisingly passionate about your growth and education.
Is this program open to person with non IT background?
Yes! This program is open for those who does not have technical background previously. You will be taught the basics such as programming fundamentals and practical statistics; enabling this program to be opened to whoever who does not have techical background.
Will this program get me a job?
Yes,we will ensure that you will receive employment opportunities from our hiring partners once you graduate as long as you graduate with score above 80% on our Full Track Academy. You will be eligible to demo on our stage during Data Career Day in which our hiring partners will be able to solicit you and providing you employment opportunities at their companies. However, please note that we are the “connector” between the graduates and the hiring partners and that we give all the rights to our graduates to choose who our graduates want to work for and who our hiring partners want to hire.
What is the output I can expect to receive out of this program?

What if I change my mind and does not want to receive employment opportunity?
Not an issue, you may opt out on our career preparation and demo day at during our Data Career Day. There are many participants who want to only obtain the skills and are not looking for employment opportunity. If you are like them, you can still enroll in our program.
What is the time commitment?
During our 10-week bootcamp, students must be able to commit to 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday) at 13:00-16:00 or 18:00-21:30 during the week and should expect to spend some time outside of the learning hours and over weekends to complete project work. As with any instruction, students will get as much out of the program as they put into it.
