The broad applications of Data Science in various sectors have created opportunities for talents, but it also creates skill gaps in our workforces. Algoritma tries to bring awareness of the importance of learning data science to society through Data Talks. This podcast focuses on the implementation of Data Science in various fields and industries.
In this session, Jendela Data: Harnessing the Transformative Power of Data Science, we will share with the audience how data science is being used in various industries and why it’s essential to start learning it. At the beginning and end of the session, participants will get information on how to improve their knowledge through the Data Talk podcast & Algoritma Scholarship program.

Joelian Samuel, VP of Data at Kredivo (FinAccel)
Starting his career as a Software Specialist at IBM, Joelian begins his data science journey as Data Scientist at Jakarta Smart City. Today, Joelian is the Vice President of Machine Learning at Kredivo (FinAccel) and helps the company with its digitalization effort in the Financial Technology (Fintech) industry.
Argi Tendo, Creative Technologist at Tendos Studio
Argi is a Creative Technologist at Tendos Studio, where he successfully mixes art with technology and creates several innovative projects. Tendos Studio itself is a creative technology studio specialized in Augmented Reality based in Jakarta.
Before developing his business at Tendos Studio, Argi worked for Gojek as their UX Web Supervisor and Frontend Web Developer. He also had the experience to be a Senior UI Developer and Design Partner at Traveloka.
Yosia Azarya, Instructor at Algoritma Data Science School
Yosia is a data science instructor with exposure to national and international projects. He has been involved in numerous mentoring, data science projects, and consultative data science training for our clients, to name a few: DBS Singapore, BATAN, TASPEN, etc.
He has experience as a data scientist with a complete skillset from data gathering to application deployment. He graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology, majoring in Materials Science and Engineering. With a background as an engineer, he has strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
