Background

The digital transformation era has fostered the redesigning of business models, including the trade route; the flow of goods going from the producer to the customer. As one of the main support for Indonesia’s economy, the trade route needs to be maintained and developed in this digital transformation era. With this goal, PT. HM Sampoerna Tbk. through one of their business lines, SRC, helps wholesalers and retailers to change their traditional operations to more digitalized operations, and adapt to the digital transformation era.

Supported by the utilization of big data, SRC facilitates the management of the grocery store business, starting from ordering Wholesale Merchant products digitally, providing digital product payments, and organizing sales administration records to improve their efficiency in running their business and increase their competitiveness in the era of digital transformation.

In this session, Revolutionizing Traditional Retails in Indonesia Through Big Data, the audience will learn how big data helps the revolution of traditional retailers to fit in the digital ecosystem.
