Indonesia’s financial sector is growing exponentially. With the current technology disruption, a large number of financial services seek new opportunities in the realm of digital banking. According to a report by Finder in 2021, Indonesia ranked second in the world (excluding China and India) in the percentage of adults with a digital bank account (24.9%), after Brazil (32%).

Artificial intelligence and machine learning play an important role in all aspects of digitizing Indonesia’s financial sector. Both digital and conventional banking have teams of experts in the process of automation, reducing operational costs, identifying fraudulent transactions, and even supervision.

1.Yosira Ayu Jawata – Business Performance Analyst, Bank Jago

Yosira has a hands-on experience in business analytics. Currently, a member of Business Performance team at Bank Jago to support business operations and new business development.

2. Samuel – Decision Science Specialist, Commonwealth Bank Indonesia

Samuel  helps the retail banking business by creating predictive models, providing deep analysis, and supporting the decision-making process. Prior to that, Samuel joined 2 years Graduate Trainee program which helped sharpen his business acumen and constantly challenge the status quo.

3. Theresia Stefanie Utama – Non-Retail Analytics Head , CIMB Niaga 

Stefanie has a hands-on analytic project, as well as analysis for cross-selling and upsell based on data & business needs and creating predictive models using big data platform. She had her Master of Business from Monash University where she study Risk Management.
