Course Summary

This is a beginner-friendly introductory session for building a deep learning model using Python Programming language. We will be looking into one of the most popular implementation of the deep learning model: image generation. We will discuss the fundamentals concept of deep learning architecture and its application in several other fields.

The program we are using in this session will run on top of TensorFlow architecture and several other dependencies. It is not mandatory to install any requirements on your local computer. The codes we are using will be made available on Google Collaboratory, an online virtual machine that is free to access (requires a google account).

Some familiarity in Python, and/or geometry will be helpful but is not required as the instructor assumes no prior knowledge in math/programming for all workshops in the Kickstart Series.

NOTES: This workshop will be delivered in English.

Your Instructor

Iqbal Basyar is a machine learning practitioner and has adopted the practice since the booming age of Computer Vision (2015). He has more than 3 years of teaching experience. Started in 2017 he started by teaching Mathematics and became a mentor at Google Summer of Code in 2018. In 2019, he is appointed as one of the Machine Learning Instructors at Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. He has conducted numerous consultative data science training for PT Indo Kordsa, PT. Sigma Metrasys, and Bank Rakyat Indonesia, to name a few.
