We are looking for a smart and ambitious Data Scientist who possesses a passion for impact and for pushing technologies to the limits. The Data Scientist will work closely with our talented Data teams to design and build the “LinkedIn for Indonesia” (and eventually South East Asia).
Job Description
- Apply machine learning techniques to improve recommender systems, user behavior experiences and other relevant business outcomes.
- Design and develop effective models, features and algorithms
- Define metrics, conduct A/B tests, and oversee statistical measurement of new algorithms and approaches.
- Coordinate with other teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
What We Are Looking For :
- Fluent in Python/R and query languages
- Have a background in statistics, machine learning or software engineering
- At least 1+ year experience in data science role, with a proven track of successes in solving real-world problems on large scale data.
- Knowledge on the following areas is considered a plus: natural language processing, learning to rank, deep learning for collaborative filtering.
- Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark is a big plus.
