What You Will Really Be Doing
- Work within a cross-functional product team, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and engineers from all corners (front end, backend, systems, machine learning engineers and more!) to rapidly develop scalable data pipelines from start to finish
- Develop multiple automation and instrumentation tools to automate your work
- Work with billions of rows of data.
- Develop real-world data intensive applications that is scalable to millions of users.
- Develop clean and scalable codes/APIs.
- See the code you write in the morning went live to production in the afternoon.
- Learn about best practices in software craftsmanship. We have bi weekly knowledge sharing sessions, peer code reviews, and personal training budgets for every engineers.
- Use exciting and cutting-edge technologies: from Ruby to Go to Erlang, we’re proudly polyglot and not shying away from using the best tool for the job!

What We Need You To Have
- Bachelor degree from computer science or related fields, or equivalent software engineering experience.
- Minimum 3 years of working experiences as Data Engineer
- Excellent programming skills and excellent analysis skills.
- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL.
What Would Make You Stand Out from The Crowd!
- Knowledge in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Knowledge of data pipeline process from start to finish
- A desire for doing automation and instrumentation
- Understands Hadoop / Spark / Kafka / Hive / Presto
- Have a good grasp in object-oriented programming practices.
- Prior experience in building real world data-intensive applications.
- Knows the zen of design patterns.
- Breathe and love high scalability.
- Able to talk Unix even in your sleep
