Background
Algoritma community event is a once-a-month event organized to help Algoritma Academy Alumni upgrade their skills and expand their professional network. Algoritma invites thought leaders in the data science field to the community event session. The event will consist of 2 sessions, the first is a knowledge-sharing session, and the second is a networking session.
Speakers in this session came from various backgrounds and industries. Students and Alumni would get opportunities not only to network with each other – but to get connected with our speakers. Samuel Chan , Course Producer, Algoritma Data Science School
An RStudio-certified instructor and machine learning practitioner in the field of marketing automation, fraud detection, finance and e-commerce. Samuel is Indonesia’s top-ranked Stack Overflow user in R (top 5% worldwide) for three years running, and boasts certifications from RStudio, Microsoft, MongoDB, Neo4J Database, Stanford University, John Hopkins University, among others.
Gerald Bryan, Data Scientist
A Business Mathematics graduate and a Microsoft Certified Data Analyst associate, Gerald is competent with R-based and Python-based data science workflows, and frequently uses his adeptness in ML theory to help clients extract actionable insights from their data.He works with Supertype’s research team on topics ranging from text processing to time series and forecasting.
