Samuel is Indonesia’s top-ranked Stack Overflow user in R (top 5% worldwide) for three years running, and boasts certifications from RStudio, Microsoft, MongoDB, Neo4J Database, Stanford University, John Hopkins University, among others.
Prior to Algoritma, he has 8 years of working experience, including a stint as in-house consultant to several public-trading companies from his time staying in China, Japan and Singapore. He is today an active trainer and consultant for various companies in the financial industry. He has guest lectured in various campuses: Binus, NUS (National University of Singapore)’s The Logistics Institute, University of Indonesia, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Binus, Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB), Telkom University etc. Courses he authored are offered also in Singapore through Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Algoritma developed this program with support from Draper Startup House. Our goal is to create the next wave of digital entrepreneurs and ‘nomad coders’ who are fully equipped with up-to-date software development skills and programming experience right in the heart of Bali.

Yes, you need to bring your laptop.
In what language are the classes?
Classes are in English. You must have an excellent grasp of English to attend the course. You’ll be fine if you understand everything you read on this website.

Our Education Consultant will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your video call appointment. During the call, you can get more details and ask questions to decide if this program will suit your learning objectives.
After the call, you can secure your spot by paying a 10% deposit fee. Our seats are limited, and we operate on a first come, first serve basis. After the deposit, you will get access to our pre-course materials that you must learn before the bootcamp in Bali.
Our team will help you to make sure you’re able to attend on the scheduled date. You may ask our team regarding visa requirements, accommodation arrangements, etc.
Do accommodation included in the program fees?
No, the program fee listed on this website does not include accommodation. But we partner with hotels to provide special rates for our students. You can request accommodation arrangements from our Education Consultant, and additional fees will apply.
Is food included?
No, however, food is cheap and delicious in Bali. A meal at a local restaurant will cost around $2 to $3.
What’s the refund policy?
All fees paid are non-refundable. Make sure you’ve decided and committed to the program before enrolling. We allow 1x reschedule if, for some reason, you cannot attend the cohort you’ve selected.
