Background

Our ability to harness the power of Big Data is transforming our entire world. Unfortunately, until now, Indonesia still lags behind the number of resources for data analysts and data scientists. Based on research by the World Bank and McKinsey, Indonesia needs up to 9 million workers related to big data for the 2015-2030 period. In other words, the average human resource needed is 600,000 per year.

In order to reduce the talent gap and understand the importance of adequate Human Resources to process data, it is necessary to have a strong understanding of the importance of the data itself, as well as use cases in the relevant industry. For example, by applying predictive analytics techniques, stakeholders can optimize work and avoid mistakes that might cost a lot of money.

In this webinar series, Algoritma will give a broader scope of data analytics use cases. Furthermore, our partners will share the secret to creating a successful analytics project in the industry, especially at a giant company like Tokopedia.
